Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in many of our homes.

Many of our homes are pet friendly and accept a maximum of 2 pets. Every pet goes through screening, and each one must be approved before it arrives at the property.

Dogs, cats, and other pets welcome at 24 Property Management homes

Yes, we noticed: the German Shepherd above and those two puppies under a year old unfortunately would not qualify. Nobody checked the pet policy before the photo shoot. 🙂

The one rule that matters most: only pets specifically listed on your lease addendum are allowed, and every pet must be approved before it comes onto the premises.

Create a pet profile
If you apply for or live in one of our homes and want a pet, start an online pet profile at 24mgmt.petscreening.com. The pet application fee is $25 per pet by credit card, or $20 per pet by ACH. The fee is not refundable.

If your pet is approved
Once your pet is approved, there may be fees associated with having them in your home: a refundable pet security deposit, a one time non refundable pet fee, and/or a monthly pet fee. These vary based on factors like the type of pet, size, breed, and how many pets you have. The specific amounts will depend on your individual pet and lease terms. Don't worry, we'll discuss all applicable charges with you and get everything agreed upon in writing before you sign your lease. No surprises!

Know the restrictions
Dogs and cats under one year of age are not allowed. When there is a question, the landlord makes the final determination on the breed or classification of any animal.

Our insurance company does not allow the following dog breeds, even in our pet friendly homes:

Assistance animals

We accept assistance animals per state and federal guidelines. If you have an assistance animal, you will complete an online animal profile at the same screening site. There is no application fee for this process.
